Sebastian Stan to Star in Apparition

Sorry, Carter Baizen fans. It looks like our fave gambling addict won't be returning to the Upper East Side anytime soon. Shortly after being cast in The Black Swan, Sebastian Stan (Carter) has just landed another big role! He'll star opposite Twilight hottie Ashley Greene in The Apparition, a supernatural horror film. Said to be inspired by true events, the story revolves around "a couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment." Yep, this definitely sounds cheesy.

Filming begins in Germany next month -- which has us wondering if Sebastian will *ever* have time to reprise his role as Serena's former flame on Gossip Girl. Nonetheless, a Carter-less GG could be good news for a future Nate and Serena 'ship! God knows they've already got enough issues to deal with.
